Wahneita, Aunt Georgie's daughter, asked that I post this on here so we can pray for Gloria.
"Keep Gloria in your prayers please. She really needs to be able to gain a few pounds to be able to continue Chemo. She has thrush in her mouth and throat. The tumors are shrinking. So continue to pray for her. Please set aside some time to pray for her :)
I am asking all my friends to send my sister-in-law cards to encourage her. Gloria Klumpp Gratiot Medial Center, Alma Mich 48801 room 2057"

Colton Goes Home To Meet Jesus
Baby Colton reached Heaven's gates this Thursday and what a celebration Jesus had planned for him! He was welcomed by his Grandpa Jessup and many other family and friends. Even though this is a sad time for all of us, the angels were rejoicing when this precious, little boy entered Heaven! Please keep his mommy Rachelle, and his daddy Jr, in your prayers as they will need the strength, that only God can give in a time like this! His other family members could use your prayers as well. Below are the visitation hours and the funeral details. If you can not make it to either but would like to send Rachelle & Jr. Haus a card, please send it to: 201 E. Union St., Apt. 2, Greenville, MI 48838.
Colton Jaymes Haus, one year old, went to be with the Lord Thursday, October 20, 2011 from Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids from complications of hydrocephalus. He was born October 3, 2010, the son of devoted parents Larry and Rachelle (Jessup) Haus. Colton was truly Larry and Rachelle's Little Miracle Baby , living for a year despite his physical struggles. He is survived by his parents, of Greenville; grandparents, Marian Jessup of Greenville, Brenda Elliott of Indiana, and Larry Haus, Sr. of Indiana; great-grandparents, Joseph and Ida Elliott of Indiana and Lois Haus of Indiana; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Nelson Jessup; and uncles, Daniel Jessup and Jeremy Jessup. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, October 24, 2011 at the Rock Lake Bible Methodist Camp Chapel (8101 N. Pine Grove Rd., Vestaburg, MI 48891). Colton's pastor, Rev. Dennis Johnson of the Greenville Bible Methodist Church, will serve as officiant, and interment will follow in Lincoln Township Cemetery near Shepherd. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville. Memorial contributions may be given to the Greenville Bible Methodist Church.

Latest Update on Baby Colton
Here is a post from Rachelle's FB status, yesterday, 10/18/11. Please continue to keep this family in your prayers!
"This is the hardest decision we have ever had to make. The test came back not good. He basically has no brain function at all. We have made the decision to take him off the vent. It wouldn't be fair to him if we kept him like this. No parent should have to go through this. I just pray for Gods strength as we take this step. There are lots of people waiting for Colton with open arms. Including his brother or sister, grandpa, uncles, cousin, and many more....... Thank you all for all the prayers. I wish I could meet everyone in person but since that is not possible. Could you take a minute to copy and repost this so everyone will know how grateful we are for you thoughts and prayers."

Pray for Baby Colton
As most of you know, baby Colton just turned one year old : ) He has been doing so well, but this past week he went back into the hospital. PLEASE keep Rachelle (Jessup) & Larry Haus and their precious baby boy Colton in your prayers! Pray that God will grant them all the strength that they need at this very moment and in the furture! Here is a look at Rachelle's Facebook status' she's been posting this week. This will give you a little bit of what has been going on and will help you to know how to pray for this family! Rachelle is Aunt Marian (Shattuck) Jessup's youngest.
Thursday, Oct. 6th --"Colton was airlifted to Devos. I dont know whats wrong. He was breathing very shallow when we called the ambulance. He was unresponsive they had to put a breathing tube in. We are on our way there now. We did have a very good team working on him thougg. They were really nice."
"Coltons shunt is clogged. They are going to take him to the OR. But since he isn't responding they don't know if this will work. If it don't he may be on a ventilator the rest of his life. He don't respond to anything. Please, please pray. This all happened over night."
"Amy(Dr. Foodys PA) just came out and said when she tapped the shunt, she drained about 35 ml and when that pressure was released he moved his legs and his pupils are showing some reaction. They are going to do an echo to make sure there is not clot at the end of the tube. If there is they externalize it, if ther isnt they will do a revision. Thanks for praying. It's working. We are waiting to go back to see him. They are trying to get a line in."
"They just took Colton down for surgery. If its just the shunt not working they can replace it but if its working there is nothing they can do."
"Colton came through surgery fine. They said it couldn't have gone better. There was a block in the tube. Now were just waiting for him to wake up."
"Thanks to all who has been praying and who came to be with us today. We are in Coltons room. Still waiting for him to wake up and see how he breathes."
"Colton is starting to move a little bit. It's small movements but at least it's something."
Friday, October 7th --"Not a whole lot has changed. He does move when you touch him. He isn't reacting a lot to the flashlight. His CT scan showed that his brain is swollen and the ventricles are still too big. It's hard to see him this sick."
"I know I haven't put an update lately, but there hasn't been much change. We're still waiting for that miracle. We've seen it over and over. And I believe it will happen again. He did pull back his arm when I pulled on it a little."
Saturday, October 8th --"There's been no change. His pupils aren't dilating anymore. He still moves his food when you touch it. But he hasn't really moved his arm. I just feel so helpless. I wish I could just hold him and tell him everything will be ok. Last year around this time we didn't think he would make and God brought him through it all. I believe he can do the same this year.
"There's nothing more the doctors can do. We can either leave him on the vent and see if he comes around or we can take him off. The docs. dont think there is much hope. The only one that can help him is God."
"There’s a little boy on Facebook,
As sweet as sweet can be!
I’ve never even met him,
Yet he means so much to me…
... ... His parents named him Colton;
At times, his life’s been hard.
That life has been a blessing
To those both near and far.
He recently turned one year old!
His day to celebrate –
Instead, spent at the hospital,
His parents, they must wait.
The family is supportive;
They pray and give their love.
His Facebook fans are praying, too
To One Who reigns above.
“Lord Jesus, be with Colton,
And Rachelle and Larry, too.
They need Your comfort and Your love;
They know not what to do.
Just draw up close beside them now,
And help them know You’re there.
Please touch this precious little boy
With tender, loving care.
And when Your will is clearly done,
We’ll praise You once again.
For Colton’s life, You have a plan,
We thank You, Lord, for him.”
"I don't know how to thank all of you for the reposts and prayers. We really appreciate it. I am so glad that we have so much support. I don't think we could make it without you all. We love and appreciate all of you."
Sunday, October 9th --"I should clarify a little bit. The doctor didn't actually say we should take him off but the indication he gave was how long should we keep him on. He said there is nothing more that can be done. He did say though that he wants us to be completely comfortable with our decision. My gut tells me that it is not time yet. One of the nurses from the NICU told us last year and just today to let Colton decide when he's had enough.

Shattuck Family Reunion 2011 - Part I
WOW, what an wonderful time we all had at this year's 2011 Shattuck Family Reunion!!! All the living children of George & Edna Shattuck were there: Donna, Mac, Norman, Lee, Cecil, Georgie, Florence, Marian, Coreen, Myrtle & Evelyn! We were so thankful all of their children could be there, along with many and many of their families as well. This year we had something brand NEW--the Hill Billy Limo : ) This was driven by Aunt Georgie's great-grandson, Kyler. He brought this for the kids to enjoy, but as you can see, EVERYONE enjoyed it! He spent hours and hours driving that thing around, and we are so thankful he shared it with us! Of course we enjoyed some of our normal things too...evening chit chat and singing around the bon-fire, snacks for the kids at midnight, BINGO w/ LOTS of prizes, pop corn from the pop corn man (Ed Shirely), a gospel sing, Sunday morning family worship service, ball tournaments, euchre tournament, crafts, the family auction, etc. etc. Each year we all look forward to this fun-filled event, we are SO blessed to be a part of this family! Thanks to everyone that took part in this year's reunion, we are truly thankful for everyone's participation!! Here are a few pictures to get us started, but PLEASE share your pictures with me by sending them to me so we can get a variety of them on here. Email them to me at: jjtkkcooper@ffni.com.

--The youth dorm will again be monitored by Melody and Brian Bennett who continue to do an outstanding job!!!
Please sign up youth at youth dorm with Melody and Brian. Do not allow your children to stay in youth dorm unless you have signed them up. Also understand that during the day it is still the parent’s responsibility for their children’s care.

--The cost for the exclusive use of the campground from Friday evening through Monday is $1,800 again this year. The room and camp site fees cover about ½ of this expense. Of course there are other expenses liability Insurance, paper products, postage and printing of this letter. So again, we are looking for your participation in the auction and offering to cover the remaining costs.
--We are asking that everyone help with cleanup of campgrounds. We are going to ask for volunteers for cleanup of specific areas.
